My friend Delilah and I took our kids camping on the weekend to Whiskers Point. It was tons of fun and the kids had a blast, other than a few blips here and there. The weather was great except for the last day, and the camp site is beautiful. The picture above is one of my favourites from the bunch.

 

Well, I finally finished the real estate course I was taking. It only took me 5 months to complete and you get a year to do it so that is pretty good I would say. I will be taking my final after the summer holidays and I will post here how I do! Wish me luck everybody!

I finally got my laptop back, to all people that want a notebook, I am telling you right now, never get an HP. I have had problems from the moment the warranty was up. It is getting actually really costly and may have to get a new one one of these days!! heheheehheheehe

Well, it is April 8th and we still have TONS of snow, it is really crazy and frankly, I better be starting to golf in May, or else I am going to be really upset!

Joe is very busy working--which I guess is a good thing and Jordan is doing well, as usual.

I am sure I will post much more now that I am not so busy and since my lifeline- Oh, I meant laptop- is back! hip hip hooray!!

And on a side note, I really want David Cook to win American Idol!!

This writers strike must come to an end soon! I have had enough of re-runs and bad movies that we have seen 1200 times already!  It is winter and there is too much snow to be outside doing stuff, so I need my T.V. distraction! Does anyone else feel the same way?? Give the writers what they want! All I have to say is Dirty Sexy Money better come back or else I will be super mad at ABC and maybe, just maybe, I will boycott them! hehehehe

Groundhog forecasts more winter

PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) - America's most famous groundhog emerged from his burrow early on Saturday and declared that winter will last another six weeks.

Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow shortly before 7:30 a.m. to the cheers of more than 30,000 people from as far away as Alaska and Texas, one of the largest crowds in the 122-year history of the event in the central Pennsylvania town of Punxsutawney.

The rodent was taken out of a tree stump on a hill called Gobbler's Knob, and delivered his prognostication to William Cooper, President of Punxsutawney's Inner Circle, who organizers say is the only person in the world who can speak "groundhog-ese."

According to the tradition that may have links with the European festival of Candlemas, if the groundhog sees his shadow, it will mean six more weeks of winter. If not, there will be an early spring.

Cooper read a scroll containing the groundhog's prediction. It said: "As I look around me, a bright sky I see, and a shadow beside me. Six more weeks of winter it will be."
